Location: Colorado | Trying to finance Nick's 1688, so the 1881 needs to go. Pics upon request, so email me and I'll send photos since I can't get the hang of posting photos here.
There are a few small imperfections on the guitar that were there when I bought the guitar from the original owner in September 2003. These include a small 3/16" square dent on the back of the neck (about the 10th fret), some minor fingerboard wear in the first three frets, and the tuner sometimes doesn't pick up the low E very well.
Other then these items, the guitar looks and plays fine. There has been no cosmetic or structural damage to the guitar while I have owned it. Gold hardware shows no corrosion and tuners still work well--this guitar stays in tune for months at a time. Ears on headstock are intact--no chips or cracks. Soundboard/binding/epaulets are in good shape. I plug in via the XLR output and electronics work fine as well.
I did install a piece of 3M non-skid tape to keep the guitar from slipping too much. I can remove this if you like.
Guitar comes in original, blue-lined, Ovation case.
PM or email me if interested. Thanks. |

Location: Colorado | Well, that 1688 is too hard to pass up and I can't have both. |

Location: Colorado | Still on the block even though the 1688 is no longer available. I'll try to make up the difference for a 1581 reissue... |

No longer for sale.
I'll hang onto this one for awhile longer and enjoy it when I can. |
