Location: Scotland | These are great machines. I was teaching an entry-level Sound Recording course a few years ago and the college happened to have a D888. It was perfect because it has a basic but good-quality easy-to-use analog interface, with hard-disk convenience. Gentle learning curve, so great for beginners or the non-computer savvy, and comes bundled with a software DAW so you can get clever after the fact if you are that way inclined. $300 is a great price. |
