Location: Jensen Beach, FL | Hello all, I am looking for another 12 string and am intrigued by the slotheads...1115,1615,GC,and Custom Legend Slothead 12 fret models, I have also heard very good things about the 2058-T LX, tho I would consider one of the newer AX or TX models as well.
I prefer deep-bowl, or mid-depth, have never tried a contour bowl, and I understand that the 1758 models while sometimes tough to find are worth the wait.
my balladeer 12 is fine, I'm just looking for another flavor and change in style and maybe a little more oomph behind it.
I have assorted gear, amps, and guitars available as trade bait, including a 12 string Hybrid Electric w/a piezo bridge and preamp/blender for the piezo, it is a semi-hollow body w/abalone trim
I would be amenable to a trade + cash deal, or a straight cash deal, just keep in mind if a cash only deal I'm not in the Adamas market, The guitar doesn't have to be a case queen and can have some battle scars, as long as the neck is straight, action at the 12th is reasonably under 1/4" and no buzzing or fretting out. I'm looking for sound and playability, not for bling or beauty so if there's some scratches, dings, chips, or blemishes.in other words CHARACTER it should be no problem, as long as no-one has tried to repaint it red, or re-finish it or sand the entire finish off. all should be well... I'm really interested in either a 1115/1615 or one of the 2058 T models, would prefer LX but AX or TX I would give a shot to as well.
Thanks in Advance, and keep an eye and an ear out for one for me!

Location: Jensen Beach, FL | Hi Art, I was looking over your collection on the Ning site, and I thought you had a honeyburst 1115, the Skull 12, and a 2058 and maybe another 12? do you have any left that are A/E or are all your 12's just acoustic only at this point?
The skull 12 is unique... is it a 1615?

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | 1115-HB is Gone...
2058T is Gone...
The "Elite" 12 was a CS255 and it is gone.
The Flame and Skulls is an Axe Wrap over a beater 1115.
The top is cracked and everything. It is really a wall-hanging...
But I play it occasionally anyway.
(Like NOW, because were are discussing it! :p )

Location: Utah | I can't find the model number offhand, but look for the 12 string version of the U681T. Deep non-cutaway Adamas, great sound! The 1680 is quite similar to the Ute, so the 12 string version should be equally amazing.

I am looking more at a straight trade, or a trade + minimal cash on this deal.
Any USA Deep 12, or 12str 12 fretter, Legend paddlehead 14 fretters, or a 1758, or on the Asian side of things any of the T-model 12 strings 2058-5-lx,ax,tx or an old nice looking Pinnacle series nice flame on those (panelmeisters) as well as good build quality,
or one of the New Ultras that were manufactured overseas then assembled, qa'd, and strung up in New Hartford,
NOT the old foam-necked or raised binding 80's style Ultras.
The Hybrid Guitar was engineered and built by a member/president of the BFLG and is very nice with the LR Baggs T-Bridge and Control-X, and built on a 335 style body with f-hole and nice rock maple neck.. strung Rickenbacker style.
plenty of twang and sparkly tones, I just am not much of an Electric player.
Thanks | |

Location: Jensen Beach, FL | well I found an early 70's Tak 12 insanely cheap, a used case would have been more expensive, and this includes a playable(at least part way up the neck)guitar... and this one even comes with it's original case, it has an adjustable saddle, so maybe no-one has tried adjusting it down... hope so, if not gonna have to get a neck re-set done.
Thanks for the sales offers on the 1758's from you two... if I could have afforded either one I would have bought it... 1758 is and probably will always be my favorite O'
if I ever did a custom build I'd do a 1758 Nakao style in -4 w/abalone everyhere, carved bridge and a contour bowl and Adamas 2 knob stereo electronics
thanks for the help anyway!! the hybrid is on the bay!
