Good luck with the sale, Dan.

For the newer people around, you ought to know that Dan played Vipers professionally for years, including a lot with Shania Twain. There's video out there on YouTube of Dan and Shania if you want to see how these great guitars sound in the hands of a pro.

Someday, I, too, will pick up a 63. I have three others, but nothing classical. GC still uses a Viper in his show.

I'm wanting to get another Parker Fly Bronze in Sunburst..I have a 'butterscotch' one. I can't resist the 4 pound guitar that sounds like an acoustic...it's not as 'hot' as the Viper, but a nice change...I'm going to be selling my custom green 63..that's the gut string..correct? It went thru the flood here, but is being restored. My guitar guy says there was not much damage..I never played it anyway:-)

Let me know if the 63 (gut strings) comes available - the green one or another....I'm not too worried about damage....some describe my playing as damaged

Dan, sorry to hear about your green EA63. Such a beauty. I hope it comes out ok.
I always lusted over it and the red EA68 with the abalone.
Good luck with your sale on this black one. We all know that the black ones sound the best :)

Oddly, I find that they all have their own voice..I have 2 blue ones, both sound & play differently..2 orange, same...my original beat up natural probably plays & sounds the best overall..probably cause I used it so much...the black one has few hours...I'll keep you posted on the green EA... pre-flood Gut green pic

Mark, you get first crack at the green EA-63. If it doesn't work out for you, let the rest of us know. This would be a great St. Paddy's Day Irish gigger.
