Buying from Dave's inventory is better and buying from a store... cause Dave doesn't stock anything but good stuff. |

Hopefully Bruce approves of your ad and it won't get shut down.
For the money, Bushman ukes are some of the best. |

Stephen, do you have a problem with me that you want to air in public, or would you rather take it off line to explain your comment? |

I'd love to have a quality uke, and if I were looking for one now, this would be it. I know Dave plays them, I just don't know how he keeps them in such pristine condition. |

365 days in a year
Go on a Uke Binge about four days out of the month plus three days over the Holidays is 51 Uke days per year.
Let's say that of the 17 Ukes 2 are more sentimental and don't get picked up while 4 are just begging to be played and count double.
So (17-2)+4 is 19 Uke Credits.
Take 51 Uke Days and spread it between 19 Uke Credits and its 2.684 Play Episodes per Uke, per Year.
Let's say that a Playing Episode is between 30 minutes to an hour on average that is 45 minutes per episode.
Take 45 minutes times 2.684 and you get 120.78 minutes. Round that to an even 2 hours per Uke per Year.
Then realize that each Uke spent an average of 3 days in the hands of FedEx (Dave's preferred carrier) and you realize that if Dave has had a Uke for three years his Play to Transit time is 6 to 72 hours.
So for every hour that Dave handles a Uke FedEx handles it about Eleven hours.
Waskel, its pretty simple math? Dave is not the problem!
This time... |

Now back to the Sales Pitch ...
There are TONS and TONS of ukuleles in this price range and the vast majority are absolute crap. Plywood bodies, frets that could grate cheese, nowhere near intonated, crappy tuners. Just total garbage.
The Jenny is the needle in the haystack. Plays and sounds like a dream. Lots of folks buy a uke and end up never playing it because it's a piece of junk and they can't figure out why they don't sound like Jack Johnson or Jason Mraz. This Jenny will MAKE you want to play and then who knows ...
And here is the best reason yet to buy this uke ...

Location: SoCal | You know, there are a couple of things you can be certain of regarding Witko's sales. First, what's being sold is either going to be exactly like he describes it or BETTER! And second, the price is always either going to be an accurate market price or BETTER!
Somebody who wants a uke should pick this up. You won't find a better deal...... |
