It's a long story, I wanted a natural with ebony so but I put an eBay bid on one, thinking it would go for way more than the $475, and then saw this one come up online and bought it right away thinking I'd lose out on the other anyway.
I won the bid.
Now I have 2.
I'm keeping this one which is actually a bit more beat up, but I like the little bit of flame in the body and neck....

Location: Utah | The Viper I got from MWoody surprised me with how great it sounds. I had a crappy Strat as a teen which turned me off of single coils, but the Viper is a great guitar. Plugged into the little Fender tube amp it has a range of tones that are sensuous and luscious.
Anyone who has been even slightly toying with the idea of buying an Ovation solid body should snap this one up at this price! |
