Location: Route 66, just east of the Cadillac Ranch | I know the likelihood of someone being interested is pretty low, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
I’m looking for a nice reliable road bike, 1000cc and up (no crotch rockets). I would be willing to include any or all of the following guitars, plus cash if necessary, for an equitable trade:
1187-247 #87 (#47 Reissue)
1689-8 #173 (1 7/8” neck)
2008 Collectors Edition
1680-NWT #23077
1127-4 #F-157 Glen Campbell Artist
Tobias (Gibson) 4 string Classic Bass (Bubinga-Wenge-Alder with gold hardware)
Please send me a PM if your have a motorcycle you no longer need/want and are interested in talking.
ps. No prices are listed because I’m not looking to sell at this time.
Thanks for looking! |

You have some NICE guitars there! And you're "willing to include any or all" of them -- PLUS cash! -- for a bike!
You must REALLY want a motorcycle! (and a NICE one at that!) |

You must REALLY want a motorcycle! (and a NICE one at that!) Thanks Alan. Eleven years after being diagnosed with rectal cancer, my Doctor just gave me a clean bill of health. So, my wife and I are going to get out and celebrate life (we'll be very careful doing it - I've ridden off and on for 30 years).
I've found that I sound mediocre on any guitar so there's no need to have a collection. Of course I'm keeping a favorite or two. ;) |

I've no motorcycle, but I was in nearly the complete Europian States with one, 20 years ago.
I wish you all the best and please stay healthy!
I've sent you a PM...

Thanks everyone for the PMs, but The guitars are no longer available for trade.

what is it? Hi Al,
Yes I did and Waskel's right, it's an '02 BMW K1200LT Custom I found down in Fort Worth. The previous owner took really good care of it.
BTW, I hope you're doing well and I hope the Ovation Roadshow is a HUGE success. I wish I could be there. |

I am fine
I like bmw's but am not a fan of that forward riding position.
they made a road bike about 10 years ago that looked like a retro harley/indian and I thought serious of that one |

Location: closely held secret | It's not as forward-riding as you might think, Al. Fairly upright. For a 1200, it's a pretty comfortable touring bike. Not a bad choice, Nick.

I've had to carry things strapped to a bike before, but never thought of using shrink wrap. That's a great idea. |
