If I didn't have to pay rent it woulda been gone when I found it.
If it had been a six-string Adamas it woulda been gone, I woulda figured-out how to pay rent later. :p |

Adamas 1587-5
I'd really LOVE to own this one, especially if the photo is a true color representation:
I LIKE IT.

Of course the seller didn't have a really compelling marketing pitch: "12 string Adamas by Ovation...have owned for over 12 years and have never really played this guitar. It has basically hung on the wall in my studio, as a decoration. Might need some neck work and certainly needs new strings. Back when I did play it, it played and sounded very nice. Does have the original hardshell case. Based on the info I have this guitar shows a s/n of 8841.88 and was mfg in Hartford, CT."
Wall decoration? Sounded very nice? Damning wuth faint praise sounds more like it |

Location: Right now? | OK; I confess. It was me. I bought it. Delivery expected Wednesday or Thursday.
Alan you played my other one when it was at the MS getting her boo boos fixed, right? So you know. ;)
Now I have two. Different preamps though. It will be interesting to compare them. I wonder if the neck is glossed on this one. The MS did an incredible job of restoring the first one (thank you JB & KK), and she has a lovely, glossy neck. They sound fabulous, very comfortable to play, and I just love the black ones .. and those gold sparkles, too. My brother, whenever he visits, whines and begs me to give him my 1685-5. Now he's really going to bug me.
