It does appear they have taken some "liberties" with it.

I was gonna PM you about it, but for $310.... I was afraid a 'Citizen' might buy it.
I almost bought it! (But I bought a KO-reen Balladeer instead)

Then I saw the knobbie modifications.
But I figure that somebody here could do something with it.
A bunch of sandpaper will get rid of all them cracks.

Geez, I really don't need another axe, but I'll keep an eye on the bidding action. Careful what you wish for, Michael.

For the Seller's sake, I hope it runs up to $400 or so...

I always used to get mad when I had a Great BIN and some cheapskate bids on it anyway,
just trying to be Cheap.
In the Ole Daze my listings always sold for more than the BIN when someone did that.

Remember everybody, the BIN was only $275. :D

You're right, I'm a Cheap Cheapskate and I plan to win at $225!

Those other guys would make some weird Frankenstein guitar. I'll preserve the parts by taking the guitar apart, losing interest, and throwing everything in a box.

You have too many guitars to keep track of. Don't forget the one in my basement. Send me your address.

Y'all say cheap like its a bad thing. No problem here.

If an OFCer picks this up and wants me to butcher, er repurpose it for them I'm good with that.

Otherwise I do have too many unfinished projects and need to learn to say no.

Maybe...

When I was referring to 'Cheap' I was speaking as a Seller, Not a Buyer...

Cheap is Bad for a Seller...
Cheap is Good for a Buyer...

[I just bought a replacement for my old 4861 for under $250 :p ]

It looks like a once-black Breadwinner that's been stripped down. Lord knows what's happened to the electronics.

Good luck numbfingers. I hope you can snag it at $225.

I don't really think I'll get it at that price, but you never know. I figured the local FrankenLuthiers must not have really wanted it since they had commented but not pulled the trigger.

I'm happy to hear that cheap is good.

"FrankenLuthiers"? I resemble that remark!
And, when it comes to being cheap......well, take-a-number, and stand-in-line.
I suppose we could start some collective contributional process, to defeat all the competing bidders, if that would help you out.
I'm thinking about tree-fiddy oughta do it.

Tree-Fiddy? Too much for me! $225 is my bid and I'm sticking with it. At least I got rid of that tempting BIN so that I wouldn't buy it. I saved the rest of you too.

Isn't there an organization called the Cranky Old Cheapskate Luthiers Club? I'd join, but I'm more into post-industrial deconstruction.
