I almost bought it! (But I bought a KO-reen Balladeer instead)
Then I saw the knobbie modifications.
But I figure that somebody here could do something with it.
A bunch of sandpaper will get rid of all them cracks. |

I always used to get mad when I had a Great BIN and some cheapskate bids on it anyway,
just trying to be Cheap.
In the Ole Daze my listings always sold for more than the BIN when someone did that.
Remember everybody, the BIN was only $275. :D |

Those other guys would make some weird Frankenstein guitar. I'll preserve the parts by taking the guitar apart, losing interest, and throwing everything in a box. |

If an OFCer picks this up and wants me to butcher, er repurpose it for them I'm good with that.
Otherwise I do have too many unfinished projects and need to learn to say no.
Maybe... |

Cheap is Bad for a Seller...
Cheap is Good for a Buyer...
[I just bought a replacement for my old 4861 for under $250 :p ] |

Good luck numbfingers. I hope you can snag it at $225. |

I'm happy to hear that cheap is good. |

And, when it comes to being cheap......well, take-a-number, and stand-in-line.
I suppose we could start some collective contributional process, to defeat all the competing bidders, if that would help you out.
I'm thinking about tree-fiddy oughta do it. |

Location: NW Washington State | Tree-Fiddy? Too much for me! $225 is my bid and I'm sticking with it. At least I got rid of that tempting BIN so that I wouldn't buy it. I saved the rest of you too.
Isn't there an organization called the Cranky Old Cheapskate Luthiers Club? I'd join, but I'm more into post-industrial deconstruction. |

And I told y'all that it would go Higher than the BIN cuz somebody bid on it. |
