Location: Jet City | A real beauty, and she sounds oh so sweet! Aside from the few tiny dings (as pictured below) and some pick haze, this thing is in excellent condition! It's also my first OP24 that the light actually worked on.
One thing I really like about this guitar is the finish on the neck. On my 2 black Custom Legends the neck is glossy, but this one is a matte black. It feels real nice moving your hands up and down the back of it. Real smooth. The binding is cool too. It looks close to my 1537 but with white on the outside instead of walnut. I believe it's (from inside out) maple, padauk, maple again then the white binding.
This one's a boomer with the sound. Aside from the Book Elite, it's the best sounding cutaway Elite I've heard.
$680 plus whatever it takes to ship it to you

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Actually, the Badlands are about 100 miles east of the Black Hills where I live. I think it goes something like this:
Oh give me a home
Where the Buffalo roam
In the Hills of Dakota I pray
The air is so clean
And the Black Hills are green
And I know this is where I will stay
Home, home in the Hills
Eagles soar, and the meadowlark trills
With peace in my heart
I will never depart
See it soon, my Ovation friends will
(Ahem, sorry...) |

She had an affinty for buying Ovations,
They came to be hers from all over creation.
She'd buy them shiney, she'd buy them dusty,
Ensured her credit card would never get rusty....
HA HA HA HA
As an aside since you are in Buff country, do you have any of those Buffalo part tuner buttons on any of your gits? :) |

They are very hard to see in the dark. Next time someone hits one, I'll see if they can salvage some "parts" to send to Al. |
