Mainly interested in a 1768 or CE768 or something like that. Mainly looking for a natural finish top and a preamp more recent than the OP24. Anyone interested? |

I really wish my '05 was an Elite...love the sound, just prefer the look of the multi-soundholes. Never been so superficial over a guitar before. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | You may want to check out that 1537 on Ebay. You could possibly pick it up cheap and play it until you can sell your 05 and then send the Elite to the MS later on down the road. It probably sounds really nice just the way it is.
Here's another potential good looking deal ...

Location: Sunshine State, Australia | nosajwp, you've been trying to swap that '05 for as long as I can remember.
Why don't you try something different - like SELL it?
Put a price on it and it'll sell. Then you can buy whatever butters your muffin. You're really limiting your options with trying to trade it, especially when you're looking for a specific model in return.
Funny how it's different strokes for different folks. I just sold a deep bowl Elite down here and kept my '05, mainly coz I prefer the look of the single hole. The Elite was a better guitar in many ways, but there's something real nice about the '05s. |

The '05 was really the first of the "new breed" ovations and I'm not sure they have done any better since. Very nice guitar |

Maybe it has a curse on it... |

All volunteers throw in one instrument and then you draw for a 2 month swap.
You may never see her again but you'll get to try several other guitars.
All I have to trade you are mono holes and Dual hole guitars. |

Location: Utah | An OFC jam is nearly a key party. More like a guitar orgy maybe. Take your '05 to one and you'll have a lot of people giving it a test drive. GAS hits a lot harder when the guitar is inyour hands. |

Keep it, play it and get to love it. It is one of the best wood topped Ovations out there. |

Too bad O's don't have "quick change" tops with the composite bowls, where you could swap a Legend top for an Elite or Adamas top depending on your mood. |
