Location: Sydney, Australia | Given carbon fibre is a highly rigid material, I can't see why you'd want a strap made out of it. I'm sure you could get a kevlar strap, but again, not quite sure why (unless the audience is shooting at you). |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Actually Carbon fiber is a woven material... it's not rigid unless you put epoxy on it to make it rigid. There are wallets and belts made of CF.

Aren't there carbon nanotubes? Maybe someone could make some string tubes that would last longer and give a brighter sound.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Bobbo, that's why I'm looking for one. I have a guitar that is just begging for one. Leather just looks wrong on it. Even faux CF would be fine. |

Location: Tennessee | I have a black leather Longhollow strap that is real shiny that works OK, but it's not perfect. Maybe we could find a real good hi-res CF graphic and have these folks make up a batch of about 8: http://www.strapgraphics.com/custom-guitar-straps.php. |
