Location: Phoenix AZ | I kid you NOT. You know how some guitars just have IT. I've owned one of two and can't figure it out, but some specific guitar are just in a whole nother world.
Anyway, Scott Norseman turned me onto an very old Adamas I in a shop in Mesa. It's serial no. 729. a 1687-7 Beige with old dot wood knobs and 4 screw hatch. Overall very nice with just one tiny nick on the edge of the headstock.
I strummed it and just about shit my pants. Holy freaking mother of easter sunday. This guitar has more juice than ANY Adamas I've ever played. Seriously. It blew me away. Forget the slotheads, reissues, whatever. This is THE one.
It's $2000. and worth every penny. Not sure if it has a case, I assume it does. I'm not going to buy it just because I'm a little overloaded with guitars right now. But if anyone wants it I'll be happy to do the deal for you. |

Wish I could send it your way for a while so you could record some of your beautiful music on it. Mike - you oughta know! And Weaser, you're right about the pictures. Dave takes better pics than I ever could, and THAT'S when I even get around to it! |

Otherwise I think I'm gonna bring my Bourgeois (or maybe #57). |

And everybody who walked in the door had two or three cases with them. I woke up with the biggest grin on my face, and it's still there. I LOVE this place! |

Hey, a fella can dream. I look forward to the pictures of both the guitar and the gathering. Dave has an advantage with the pictures. He doesn't have to wait for good weather to get the outdoor shots and then have everyone complain that he didn't mow the lawn. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | It just arrived. Yes, this really IS a great sounding guitar. And Dave did such a great job setting it up for me. Nice low action that makes you want to play it all day. So I think I will. I'll get some pics up in a while with it sitting next to it's "twin". But first... |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Thanks Weaser! My friend Jeff is playing it right now. As good as it sounds when you are playing it yourself, when you're out in front listening while someone else is playing, HOLY COW! This thing is LOUD. Resonant frequency is 91. You have to hold on to something when it's played with a pick or you'll be blown right out of the room! 'scuse me now, I have to go pry it out of Jeff's hands. |

| Moody taught him everything he knows. GC was just a wannabe playing cowboy chords til that chance meeting at the drive-thru. GC paid for the lessons in onion rings and ketchup.
have you not seen the movie? GC plays himself and Whoopi Goldberg plays Moody. It's a real tearjerker. |
