Location: Vernon CT | Well, I've told a few I would never do it,but, times are dictating that I sell.
Up for sale is my 1758. I had it down at the SSSJ and a few had the chance to play it, so If anyone wants to chime in with your thoughts please do. The only "issue" with the guitar is that some of the leaf tips on both Eppies are slightly curling up a bit and the bass side Eppi has a broken leaf tip (1/4 ") that I glued down and when I did smudge a little Super glue which I have had trouble getting all of it off (I've used Nail polish remover). Other then that It's in real good shape. The case is in good shape, but has a crack in the lid that I covered up with a G8r bowl label. It DOES NOT affect the safety of the guitar. I'm looking for $700.00 Delivered in to the lower 48 states.
I'll send more pic's if interested. |

Also, my Luthier uses some violin tool (a small wafer like aluminum looking scraper) that he uses to clean off excess glue from violin and guitar faces...he says if you are patient and careful, you can clean up most any bad glue job.

Got to fondle this one at the SSSJ and it is sweeeet; booming and easy playing chimer! The burst is even nicer than the pics. My 1598 sat in the corner pouting due to the time I spent with this 1758.
Sorry to see Bob let this one go. Congrats to both ya'll. |
