Location: Texas | I was wasting time and ran across this. 850 dollars seems like a good deal to me. The seller says it is a 1983, which makes we wonder a bit.

Location: Paris/France | I've been in contact with the seller in the past weeks and it's a very nice person.
Because the label is missing, I've tried to date this guitar with the specs only : 2 knobs stereo pre-amp, single epaulet, old trim around the top, aging of the color etc... that's why I said that it's a 83/84 model so if the date is wrong, I'm guilty... :D
I'm still have pics in high rez of this guitar and I hope it will help:

Location: SoCal | Probably 1984. That's when they started doing cutaways, but it was right before Ovation went to the OP24 in 1985. But '84 is just a guess.
Great guitar and a really great price. Hope somebody picks it up..... |

Location: Texas | I am ignorant about Adamas guitars and assumed the cut-aways came much later. This is my dream guitar. I fell in love with it after seeing the "Bubble" guitar from France. Maybe someone can get it and sell it to me one day.
Cheers,

Location: Cicero, NY | You can't just leave it there, Dave. I played one and it was the BEST GUITAR I'VE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE BAR NONE! WOW!!
And for $850 it's a stoopid good deal. |

Location: Colorado | Huh. And I just drove home from Phoenix yesterday. The ad doesn't say if it comes with a case or not, so I just shot this guy an email to find out.
I'm interested in this one, but I need to find out first if the person I loaned the 1881 wants to buy the 1881. I can't get serious yet, so someone else can have first shot at this. |

Location: michigan | exchanged a few emails with the seller. It has had some repairs, however, the seller was quite honest and has put a lot of money into fixing it right. I am going to pass on this one. she was very responsive to my email replies through craigslist. |
