Next up, since I don't play it enough to keep it, is the Hamer I bought off nervous here a little while ago. In the same stellar shape as when I got it with new strings (.009) and ready to roll. Special order while Joel was still with the company, with the following options:
Ultimate Herringbone flame maple top
Ebony fret board with crown inlays and additional first fret inlay.
Tom Anderson Pickups (H2 bridge, H1 neck)
Tobacco sunburst
TonePros bridge and tailpiece

Comes with TR tool, TonePros hex key, OHSC with key. $1350.00 + shipping and any paypal fees.

I LOVE the look of that guitar. Wish I could justify (read: play) an electric. That's just beautiful.

I'm with Weas. Wish I played more electric and could justify buying it. Love the ebony fretboard.....

What is a Herringbone flame maple top? I've never heard of that. Beautiful guitar. Good luck with the sale.

Not sure, but that's what was represented to me when I bought it. Sure is beautiful though.

The herringbone is the v-shaped pattern formed where the two matched top halves are put together.

Where this is simply split and matched:

This top has been cut at an angle creating the 'herringbone' pattern:

The very best with the sale Jim, I should think it won't be available all that long.

It's funny how that non-wood guitar has a way of just being the go to every time. Glad you're still enjoying it, but I don't see why it means you have to let this beauty go.

I just got done recording 6 tunes and used 5 different electrics on them.

You 2 must be twin brothers from a different Mother, EXCEPT, he keeps the once he gets them and you sell them once you get them! ;)

I'd like to see some graphs and pie charts on the subject but if AJ has not passed up TJ, he has to be right on his heels.
I think TJ has be at it a bit longer but AJ has been moving at warp speed.

If I kept all the guitars I bought, I'd need something the size of an old KMart to put them in,... and a bank account the size of AJ's. ;)

Sounds like they are going to have to put pontoons on Oz to hold up all those extra guitars, lol
