| First off, I would like to introduce myself as a new member here at Ovation Fan Club. I have been lurking for a short period, and would like to stay awile. I am a self taught player (slow), and enjoy flatpicking presently. Easy listening type, with a few campfire songs mixed in.
Here's my story; I purchased a number of different guitars, acoustic & electric, in the later part of 2006. Reason being, it had been quite awile (25-30 years) since I have picked up a guitar to re-visit. That being said, I have come to the conclusion that my last purchase, a BALLADEER Model S861 , as the most likely candidate to stay with me.
Now for the classified part; I have the following Ovation Celebrity up for grabs. I made purchase of this particular piece in December of 2006. Follow the link to some pics, and details.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry it took so long for that. Hope you stick around and participate. Most folks here would applaud your "Sophie's Choice" for the keeper. You're not likely to get much action on the Celebrity here, but that's just because this place is full of guitar snobs when it comes to Ovations from the USA vs. Asia. You've got a very nice guitar available, you might want to try eBay. I don't think your price is too far out of line for what you have, but around these part most folk would find a pre-loved USA model for that price.
How do you like the shallow bowl and what color is your balladeer?
