I have become intrigued with Ovations but have never owned one. I'm looking for a U.S. made 12 string -- probably under $1000. Medium depth, I think, as I'd be playing it unamplified at times, and I'm under the impression the sound is better with the mid-depth -- coorect me if I'm wrong. I'd be importing into Canada so any Canadian sellers please speak up. But I'd also entertain US sellers. (It's the damn tax at the border.)

There is a Glen campbell 12 string at Elderly Instruments in fair condition for $275.(www.elderly.com) look at: used 12 string

I have an 1866 in NEW condition for sale...under a grand :)

VERY nice guitar...my fiance just doen't think I need two of the same model, even if they ARE different colors. She feels the same way about fiances, too....

Or look down a few threads to March 6, StandingOvation's Custom Adamas/Ovation 12. It is a real beauty. I just saw it in person last weekend.
