I'd love to get a 1773, but I can't find any used one. New ones are quite expensive for my budget.

Can anyone recommend places to buy new for cheap, or secondhand bargains, or alternatives to the 1773?

I basically need an ovation nylon with cutaway, with a good sound obviously.

Thanks for any help.

As far as I know, the 1773 only comes in the LX configuration. The next best thing would be a deep bowl 1763. I think there are several on ebay right now. You might want to look at them.

Thanks Moody, I will look into an 1763 if you recommend it.

Happy Hunting. :)

Moody has a really great Country Artist on ebay right now. Slightly narrower neck but a really nice instrument.

Thanks for posting the link to my auction, Mike. That guitar is now sold and is going to France.

Here's another O classical, a 1613, that's on the 'bay...

France! Congrats to both Seller and buyer!

This means I won't be getting it for my Birthday?

Nylon with a cutaway is back on the short list.
