Bad lighting, Les, but Ovation tops from that era all seem to age so nicely and deeply. If you want a nice light top, you have to buy a new guitar. BTW, this is the same one I was thinking about in your other thread.

Ah thanks... you answered a question I asked on the other thread in the BB forum. I really prefer the deeper aged finish, but probably NEED the lighter finish.

Do any of the newer Ovations have the older larger rosette?
