Location: UK | Hi, I am trying to find a realistic price for my father in laws Ovation Celebrity CC67 which he has had for over 20 years. It has the serial number 113414, which seems to put it at about 1977/78 but I remember him getting it new in the mid 80's which is confusing me a bit. He did gig with it so there are a few dings but nothing major.
I am buying it off him and want to give him a realistic price, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers |

Location: UK | thanks for the quick reply seesquare, what do you make of the serial number? Is it a 1970's or 1980's?
I think he was wanting a bit more than that, is that a realistic sale price, forget that he is family :-) |

Location: Upper Left USA | The serial numbers on the Celebrity series is not the same as the serial list for the USA made models (which are listed on the reference section). A scan of sold items on Ebay shows $125-$149. An offer of $200 would be a great way to keep the peace.
Welcome! |

Location: UK | Thanks mwoody, I have just been playing it for ages, I forgot how sore your fingers can get from an acoustic. They are all soft from my JS Ibanez but I am sure they will sort themselves out :-)
I am in the UK so I think £200 would be fair, they are a little bit more dificult to get hold of over here, awesome sound tho, with the chorus on I could drown! |

| Hi Andrew, I have a friend and fellow guitarist who just sold his house and is moving to London next month to live and work there...he's invited me to come visit sometime, where may I obtain a schedule of the performances by the London Philharmonic Orchestra?

| ..Thanks Andrew, that's a serious classical schedule...thought I might be fortunate enough to find Rossini's 'William Tell', but nothing so far...there's a Mozart piano concerto a week before Christmas,...also Beethoven's 5th in January...I'll keep looking...
