Why do people list such a beautiful guitar with such crappy pictures? |

I didn't receive your email, but I think you confuse me with the ebay seller !
I was just an ebay watcher and showed up this action on this board !
But if you want to talk, you can send me a private message on this board. |

Location: SoCal | Seller has low numbers and last feedback was 6/03 - who knows what type of unsavory things.
Course, he or she may come in with more photos and description in a couple of days...heck, it might even be a wide neck. Doesn't appear to be an OFC'er.
That is if the auction continues. Ever notice how Adamas auctions often close early? Wonder why? IMHO, someone has gotten the seller to sell it outside of eBay.
Personally, I decided not to play and get the reissue.
I am getting tired of winning and then sweating out the few days while it is shipped to see if I was lucky or screwed. I don't have to worry about chips, wear on bowl, scratchy electronics, separation of the bridge, chips in the finish, fret wear, case held together with duct tape, sending it back to the factory, etc., etc. When I get the box delivered, no longer have the thrill of opening it...now apprehension of what I will find. Unlike a wood top, not much assistance from the factory if the top needs work.
And, I am sure that I paid less than this one will sell for. And with warranty. |

Now for me, it is just #47/OFC when it is available.
I totally agree about ebay. Just getting to be really shakey for the nicer stuff. I will be sweating it out until the Limited shows up (although I feel pretty good about the seller with his feedback rating and power seller status). |

"The two handwritten numbers inside the bowl on the Kaman-signed label are No 900-94 and perpendicular to this across the end of the label 1687-2. In all the years I've owned this guitar, I haven't really played all that much, so the neck and fret board are in very good condition compared to other instruments the same age. Hope this helps."

Checking the feedback on the winner indicated he was from Japan.

Very nice looking 1581 Adamas II. Woody, you should go pick this up - it's in Issaquah.

When did the big event take place. Thought you'd sneak it into your byline and then casually make mention of the beautiful sounds your 1537 is making.
We want all the details, serial number, where it came from, what strings you like best, the works.
(I actually like the Adamas 1818 lights I scored from music123 for 0.92 a set :D )
