Samborish Custom Doubleneck
You could always take She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed to Hawaii to pick it up! |

Since I've been hanging around watching O's, I seen a couple of these Sambora wannabes drift by. Gatta say, doesn't even create a twitch in this boy's GAS gland. |

I was at GC earlier this week, and I tried a red Celebrity Doubleneck that they had there. Never played one before.
Not Bad!!!
I'd buy one!!
It had a less-than-desireable "unplugged" sound, but that WOULDN'T be what I'd buy it for.
I'm constantly switching back & forth between my 6 & 12 at gigs, and it'd be GREAT to just "flip a switch". Plus the one shallow case would fit nicely between my front seats and the PA cabs when they're loaded into the back of the Cruiser.
The playability of the neck(s) weren't near as nice as 6 or 12 . . . but for the sake of "convenience", I that I could eventually make it work.
I was quite surprised . . . . |

Location: NJ | Don't really like the convertibles . . . they remind me too much of the VW Cabriolets ("BitchBaskets"), and I don't think they have as much cargo room. They ARE fun t'drive, but with that small engine y'GOTTA have a 5-speed in it (especially when haulin' gear around).
Yeah, that'd be the one thing I might not like about the DoubleNeck, is that it has that contrived, "RockStar" look about it
Still, it'd be kinda' fun . . . |

Location: Waterloo, IL | Sold Chryslers for a while. The PT convertible was a lot of fun with the turbo, not nearly as much fun in a plain 4 cylinder. As much fun as the convertible was, I couldn't figure out how to put a guitar in the trunk, even though it really did have a trunk back there. The back seat was more usable for hauling guitars and other guitar stuff. :D |

I cannot see the white star between the two necks displayed on the picture of Sambora...
Do you ? |

Did Ovation ever consider an Adamas Double Neck?
By the way, I noticed Cliff is now in the 5,000 post's club. |
