I have a lovely nicotine brown Deacon case with the very royal purple lining, all latches work, the compartment is intact and the piece of fabric that holds the case open at 92 degrees is not ripped! It shows some age on the outside but is free of cracks and splits.
I am adding a 12 string neck to my second Deacon and this is the shorter case that will not accomodate them. This one is solid. Excellent inside and well aged on the outside.

$120 incudes shipping in the non floating US. I will ask more when it goes to Fleabay. They just don't make these anymore and the substitutes are, well, substitutes!

I need to get a hold of a Deacon Case that fits the 12 string!!! Please let me know if you have one to sell!

Woody, I would think a craftsman such as yourself would be able to find a way to bolt on some extension to the case making it 12-string compatible. Cutting wheel, glue-gun and some sheets of nicotine colored plastic should do the job, don't ya think? Dave

In lieu of my sudden elevation to Knighthood it looks like yet another OFC deal will be struck.

Unfortunately, my Deacon case has a 100 percent ripped piece of 92 degree fabric. It was pretty nearly ripped through when I got it, and the job was soon finished. It's a fairly straight and clean rip, though. Has anyone repaired these in a way you'd like to share? If not, I reckon I'll get out the old needle and thread, and maybe a piece of patch fabric.

Standing O,

Maybe he could shorten the neck by cutting a piece out of the middle, say around the 8th or 9th fret. Then a 12 string would fit in the case.

:D
P.S. Staples; that's where I buy computer supplies. Didn't know they had a guitar section.

Just to get this post back on topic, anything MWoody has will be in excellent shape. If not when he gets it, when he gets through with it.

It's a bolt on neck, so couldn't he just loosen the strings and detach the neck so it will fit in the case. Dave
