Location: North Carolina | I bought this Ovation from my father-in-law afew years ago. I've been trying to find out some information on it. Anyone know anything about model number 1612? I've tried other sights and can find anything on model 1612. Here's what I know: it was purchased in July of 1980. The Serial number is 159619. Any help would be great, I'm trying to sell it and would love some information.

Pretty much the "entry level" of the USA-made O's, but they're still GREAT guitars! Real work horses! I've got a '76 that I've played every day since I got it new, and play "out" with it every weekend. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Did you check out the 'reference' section of this site? You can look up it's year and model number there. I have a '78 Custom Balladeer, my first American made O (right on the money Cliff :D ) Take it easy....
