Sometime in the 90s I bought the Martin, Fender, Les Paul and Rickenbacker versions of that book, but they were off the shelf locally, maybe $20, I don't recall. They're "good" books but they're not exactly the Physician's Desk Reference, a DSM-IV, or a Chilton's manual for that matter.
I realize the whole 'out of print' thing changes the rules of the game but holy cow...
So if anyone has a coffee stained dog-eared version with a price that mere mortals can afford, please let me know. You can mark the cover up with cuss words with a fat sharpie so you'll know I'm not looking to just flip it on ebay. |

I'm gonna start trolling local libraries on the off chance one has a copy just so I can read the thing :) |

I still feel horrible about that.
Hell, it'll probably show up at my unit in a year or so.
Like I said, I'm gonna start e-mailing libraries in the area to see if any are floating around, there's gotta be one somewhere :)
I am really hoping to get to go to the Smokies Jam in October if these school Nazis will let me get away. |
