Location: Bellevue, Washington | So I find myself here in Boise on a business trip that looks like it is going to turn from a day trip into an over-nighter. So since tonight and part of tomorrow I'm going to have nothing to do more than likely, anyone know of anything fun going on in the Boise area? Anything thats a "must see!"? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Well you could have given me a little heads up. I'm leaving for Portland in a couple hours. Eagles are playing here this weekend. Hockey finals next door to my office. Bunch of other stuff I didn't pay attention to, since I won't be here, including 75 to 80 degree weather and I have a buy one get one free card for 11 local golf courses.
Oh yeah, one of the top two Ovation collections in Idaho. |

Location: Bellevue, Washington | Oh dang!!! Unfortunately I didn't find out about this trip until 6pm last night when my boss said "Hey guess what..." and a flight was booked at that point. Too bad, I'll be back down here in a couple of weeks though so maybe we can figure something out then!
So if you've got one of the top two... who's got the other!? :D |

I'm going to Portland because Boise's having our first really nice weekend of the Spring and I wanted to go someplace rainy and depressing.
Actually, it's my daughter's and uncle's birthday, so we're having a party. She's 23 and he's 90. Might squeeze in a little golf and guitar, too. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | It is amazing how many people never heard of Boise until they got that blue turf. A lady from Florida asked me how they got it to grow that color. (Not really.) |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Boise will always bring a warm memory to me. A friend was getting married, so I spent a week in a tent pitched between some relative's farm house and a corn field during an unbearably hot summer back in 1973, but it was good because it was during that week that I purchased my first new Ovation. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | That could have been close to downtown in 1973. We rented our first apartment in 1978, in a pretty commercial area of town and woke up to the sound of a chicken farm right behind us. |

It really sucks here. Don't come. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I know. I wasn't really kidding about Florida, though. The only reason I'd go there is to see you guys. That's probably not saying much for Florida. The Eagles are actually playing here tonight. Hey, those guys are old! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | A couple years ago we were touring the mountains over to Joseph, Oregon with SWMBO's relatives from Iowa and Kansas. Her stepmom complained about the curvey roads and I reminded her that they had curvey roads in Iowa. She said that in Iowa, if you ran off the road you'd just end up in the cornfield, but here, you'd drop off a cliff. I told her we try to stay on the roads here so that doesn't happen. One of Dave's coworkers failed to do that a couple years ago and totalled his Porsche. (Ding). |
