Location: Montana | I don't know what vintage means either but I think that the early Applauses made in Moosup with the aluminum fretboard and urelite neck should certainly be collectable. Those guitars were more than just less expensive Ovations, they were a new and different approach. I had one as my first "real" guitar in mid-70s and sold it to a friend who still has it. I've tried to buy it back but he has several very nice "name brand" guitars and he will not part with the A because it is the one he plays the most. |
