Curious, If I have a liftime warranty on a custom made Ovation guitar, can I take to the factory myself to drop it off or have it looked at(prefered) or do I need a dealer to do this for me?
Thanks, never been down this road before.

According to Ovations website:

1. Contact your place or purchase for a warranty evaluation

2. If the dealer is no longer in business or not located near you, consult your warranty manual for an authorized repair center in your area who will do the warranty evaluation

Figures. Recent events have made dealing with my normal ovation dealer difficult for me to trust the outcome anymore. I will need to find a new one or deal directly. I'll ask the guy's at the factory what they want me to do and who is closest to me?
I have been made aware of a problem by a few members recently on a manufacturing mistake I did not notice myself. I am sure the Factory will take good care of me, they always do.. and I can find another dealer if I need one. Thanks for the info......
