It will be interesting to see how the company progresses at this point. |

Just shows that having an Ivy League degree doesn't make them smart....just makes other people think they are when most of the time they are idiots. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Wow! I still visit Jol's workshop blog about once a week, including his last post of Jan 29th. Nothing in that post gives any hint about what was about to happen. Sure makes one wonder about the details and considerations leading up to this decision. I'm sure sorry to hear about this. |

You have to love the Pull system production line of 3-5 guitars a day! |

as to what happens next for hamer, we just have to see who fender puts in place. So I'm not going to worry ... yet. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Here's Jol guiding us through his workshop during an OFC factory tour where he explained many of the detailed steps to building these wonderful guitars. In this photo, he is describing the body of their top-of-the-line Improv model. I was so impressed with the quality of these guitars that I went out and bought two of them over the next few years. I hope somebody stays in touch with him and keeps us informed as to the next chapter of Jol's career (presuming he wouldn't object).
