Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | I didn't grab a lot of the typical swag but I did get what I was interested in:
22 magazines (average $8 a pop)
7 T-shirts (2 were womens tank tops)
3 Marshall portfolio bags (left 2 with Temp and Adrian)
a small amount of specific brochures
5 discs of VST working plugs from different software vendors
4 music discs
2 audio discs from different microphone makers
1 night of incredible music at a local music venue with
.....Monte Montgomery
.....Trace Bundy
.....Lawrence Juber
.....Pete Hutlinger
.....Johnny Hiland
.....and about a 1/2 dozen more I can't remember (some pics to follow)
1 night of impromptu jamming at Luthor's house (the owner of Big Heart Slides)
1 night of jamming with my OFC brethern at Paul Moody's house
I probably missed out on a lot of the show cause I spent a lot of my time at the DAW and software plugs and recording hardware booths listening to their seminars.
Really learned a lot and enlightened me on many aspects of recording I was either doing the hard way or didn't even know about it. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | We also scored a couple of invitation-only passes to Yamaha's 50th anniversary show at one of the Disney theater venues Friday night. Michael McDonald, Natalie Cole, Jason Mraz and Vince Gill were in the line-up, among others. It was a great show. |

His band was tight, the music was hot, and Monte played the acoustic like most wish they could play electric.
I talked with him at length after the show and got a few photos with him. Super nice guy. |
