OK, fine. It's the new cover band I started. I'm in an original band now too, but this cover one seems to be gettin the payin gigs.
Not the typical cover band, we're playing mostly 90's rock (Alice in Chains, STP, Dave Mattews, Foo Fighters, etc.. |

Thanks all. We've been having fun for sure. Have about 30 songs down together now. The Foo Fighters one, "Learn To Fly" is kinda funny cuz we had never played it together as a band. We all learned it on our own and played it for the first time at that gig.
Stupid thing to do, but it didn't come out too bad. |

Location: Jet City | ha! Yeah, he likes to speed up.
Steven, I do most the singing, but J sings 3 of them. We also do harmonies on a few.
I kinda like not singin occasionally, lets me wail more on the guitar.
And yeah, I guess it's been a year and a half now since I first played and sang in front of people... at an OFC gathering no less!
People are even paying now, though I've spent more on equipment for gigging than I've made so far. I still need 2 more powered monitors and a subwoofer, then I'll be happy with the setup for now. |
