Congrats Jim! Those are 'killers...
Now you'll get G(ear)AS.
BTW, that lil' hole is NOT for headphones... |

I have selected my date...if you win, why, you'll have first crack at bragging rights. ;) :D

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I bought one when they first came out. It was my one and only new guitar purchase from an on-line big box retailer. I've played it a few times, but I prefer my white ash USA Standard with the Texas Specials. I have lots of better built, higher quality, more costly 'lectrics on hand, but I still pick up the Strat when I want to grind it. There is just something right about how a Strat feels. I guess there is a reason they've sold, what, a million? |

I did get it in under the wire for the first of the year. My BD isn't till tomorrow, but I figured I'd better do it now before she had any objections. Now, I'm stating to think pedals, amps, etc.... |

Location: Cincinnati | S-1 switching allows you to change the pickup configuration by pushing on the crown of the volume knob. I'm not sure if it's still offered. Bassman Brad's son has a Jazz bass with it and he loves it. S-1 Info |

Happy Birthday. I guess you've grown out of the combo birthday/christmas present deal. ;) |

Nice pictures but it does look better in person.
Dusty got out of the box and we put a little fret wear on it while you were playing in the snow.
BTW see you tomorrow. |

The S1 basically gives you all combinations of pickups. I took it out when I rewired mine.
Go for some of Stephen's pedals! |

Location: Michigan | oh boy t.j. electric gas is twice as bad.
start clearing out areas for amplifiers that you don't need but you just have to have them in every room of the house for quick playing when needed.
make room for cables and pedals to trip over when walking by.
get ready for the mrs to start yelling at you for having your new obsession start taking over some of her personal space.
t.j. you have really done it now
thats the way to go out with a bang.
congrats on the new digs, very nice start for your first. GWB |

The Fender Blues Jr., Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, or the Fender Princeton Recording amps are all worth consideration. |
