Location: Tennessee | Looks to be in fabulous shape. It's worth every penny he got for it. I read somewhere in a thread recently that you can't get the same $$ you would have when Josh Homme was at the top of his game, and saw this one at the same time. Personally, I believe that the rarity, quality and striking good looks of these will continue to command premium pricing. It's great for the legacy of Ovation, especially for their very underrated solidbody offerings innovations. I thought about snagging this one but I'm on a strict diet right now.
Beal or someone else in the know ... what's the story on how these came to be and how did it all get pulled together? Were they built in the same factory as the other hard body guitars of the time? (Slightly OT: And who picked out the model in the leather pants?) |

Yes, all made at Samick, same as all the others. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I don't get it. But then again, I've paid nearly that much for a ukulele so I guess anything is possible. |

AJ You guys are talking about the guitar, not the model in the leather pants, right? |
