I bought a near mint Boss Blues Driver pedal several years ago on fleabay for about $30...nice enough pedal but just didn't have the sound I was hoping for...
Last week I sent it to Robert Keeley to have him do the Phat Mod on it...it came back yesterday and WHOA!!! DUDE!!! this thing kills now...no need to turn the knobs past half any more...using the PRS and the Marshall JTM60 I compared the crunch channel w/o the pedal to the clean channel w/o the pedal to get a reference then added the pedal to the clean channel...awesome tone, great sustain, wonderful harmonics and simply that "where did that smile on your face come from" feeling. Then I added it to the crunch/gain channel...incredible! 2nd order harmonics and endless sustain, fuller bass and mids: it just sings...I highly recommend this mod to anyone who wants a great extra bluesy kick to their backline...I'm gonna have fun with this!

I might give this a try. I've got one that I haven't really gotten too into. How long does it take for them to do the mod?

I heard Mikey play this thing, and as usual, I was quite impressed with the pedal AND Mike's talent. That thang sounds G R E A T. Rock out, MM!

I have one already modded.
Mine is the special limited edition no longer available "Freak Of The Week".
Not sure if the Keeley site talks about the special "Freak of the Week" pedals anymore but they are listed with reviews on Harmony Central.
For a while (about 5 years ago) Keeley would pick a pedal and just "Freak Out" with it...hence the name.

Mine is posted for sale in the "For Sale" section. Asking $150 (near mint) and trust me, it is worth every penny!

I just don't hardly ever play electric anymore so it is going unused.

Mike, I use the same Keeley modded pedal on my acoustic board with just a touch of the gain dialed in, maybe 3, but a bit more volume as it serves as my boost for leads, with the Keeley toggle switch up, whatever that does.

Brad, it's supposed to add bass response and a bit more volume in the bottom end...hence the "phat" addition...
