Got this one and it is in new condition. I've got to confess, I kind of like it. Plays very easy after removing a shim and adjusting the truss rod.

So, TJ, did you hang it up next to the thermostat so's it would help lower heating costs, or to rev up the air conditioner? ;) :D (I'm sorry; I'll be good now.)

I just played one of those last week at a music store. Nice guitar (for a Gibson)

I also noticed a couple of those flame guitars going REALLY cheap on Ebay. It was tempting to bid on them, but I have other ideas higher on the list.

I'm not sure which flames are more striking, the art or the maple? That Gibson back makes me blink.

Well, there's always Wiki:

A sphygmomanometer (pronounced /ˌsfɪɡmoʊməˈnɒmɨtər/ SFIG-moh-mə-NOM-i-tər) or blood pressure meter is a device used to measure blood pressure, comprising an inflatable cuff to restrict blood flow, and a mercury or mechanical manometer to measure the pressure. It is always used in conjunction with a means to determine at what pressure blood flow is just starting, and at what pressure it is unimpeded. Manual sphygmomanometers are used in conjunction with a stethoscope. The word comes from the Greek sphygmós (pulse), plus the scientific term manometer (pressure meter). The device was invented by Samuel Siegfried Karl Ritter von Basch in 1881.[1] Scipione Riva-Rocci introduced a more easily used version in 1896. Harvey Cushing discovered this device in 1901 and popularized it. A sphygmomanometer consists of an inflatable cuff, a measuring unit (the mercury manometer, or aneroid gauge), and inflation bulb and valve, for manual instruments.

GWB, and anyone else out there that doesn't know, that little white box on the wall is merely a combo thermometer / hygrometer. (hope I spelled that right) Just tells the temp and humidity in the room. It came with one of the guitars I bought from someone somewhere....

I splurged and won this... I blame this on TJ!
This isn't Orange, but I will have to see it in person.
And maybe I can discover what's the difference between a GCXT and a 1778T-RF

It is claimed to rarely be played, but it still has greasy fingerprints on it.
Listing and Description here...

But yeah... People keep posting pics of Flame T's and I get all nostalgic. :D

Great catch, OMA.

The 1778T-RF has the entire body painted, not just the top.

TJ... I actually bid more than that!
But I didn't make the Reserve and said "Oh Well" and went to bed.
When I woke-up I had a second chance offer.
I actually had the very first bid on that...
and I asked him about the "Played so little i havent had to change a string on it yet!" statement.
He said that he got it for looks cuz it matched the red walls of the studio.
Hope I get it in time for Christmas.

Every time I see a photo of myself with the Orange Flamer, I miss it.
(We'll see how long I keep this one)

After seeing and hearing Phil's 1778T-RF at the tour in '06, I knew I had to have one some day. When Tim put his up for sale last year, I hopped on it. The looks on this custom painted model are just stunning, and it has a midrange clarity that contributes to what SWMBO believes is the best sounding guitar in the bandroom. It also gets the most attention when I have visitors in the bandroom. If I don't turn my life around in short order, this is probably the appropriate guitar to be buried with.

I knew you really liked it when you played it at the tour. I put new strings on it one week prior.

I told TJ... I wasn't gonna bore y'all, but here goes--

Scam! I was the high bidder, higher than that sale price...
I woke-up to the Second Chance Offer, and after making sure it was real I Paid For It.
And then he emailed me wanting more money than I bid.
Dude tried to tell me that he accidentally sent to Second Chance Offer to me.
Any of you that are familiar with evilBay will know that it is impossible to accidentally sent a SCO.
Anyway... He email me wanting more money, so I called him and got my money back.
[Told him I had Friends in Joisey and Florida!]
I have never left a negative FB, so today I only left a neutral.
I am hoping that anybody buying from a guy with 2 FB points would look at the FB and be Cautious.

Oh well... I will find myself another Christmas Present, if it is in the cards?
The BCR Perfekt 10 got destroyed by UPS, this is a scam... So I should just be patient.
