Location: Paris/France | Hello,
This is my 1000th post on the OFC!!
I'm sure that everyone have noticed that most of them were like the followings:
- "thank you..."
- "welcome aboard..."
- "congrats for that nice guitar..."
- "please follow that link..."
- Etc...
But I hope that sometimes I've said some interesting things!!! ;)
I do well remember my first post on 01.Jan.2005 (Thanks Dave... :) ) and today I'm sure that it was one of the best thing I've done even if I was afraid to write in a language that I've never learned at school but only by reading your posts and by surfing on the web.
You can notice that after 1000 post I'm still unable to correctly conjugate verbs but apparently you understand what I'm writing and it's always surprising me. :D
It doesn't matter, that post was the beginning of a fantastic adventure for me and I hope that it will continue for years.
My wish today is to tell you how I'm honored to be with you and to thank you all because without the OFC and his great members, Ovationtribute couldn't exist and you know how that website is important for me.
It's my Baby, an open door to the Ovation world with so great contacts with nice people and a small link between fans.
Every week I've got e-mails from all around the world and most of the time my reply include these words: "go to the OFC forum, it's the best place in the world for O's fans..." and I'm very sincere.
Thank you for your help in building the site, thank you for your support, thank you for your kindness and for making me happy.
Thanks to Al and Miles for giving us the opportunity to share our passion!!
It's a rare privilege to be a part of that family!!
Jérôme :)
PS: I've got a last request today.
I'm here since more than 3 years and I've never dared to ask what's that story with the Llamas... :D |

Kudos to you and Tuppy, and Al/Miles, and everyone else who spends the time to make all this Ovation info available!

Regarding the llamas, now that you have officially crossed the 1000 post mark, you will be indoctinated into the cult and are entitled to experience the llama phenomenon yourself. However, as a Frenchman you will probably not find it nearly as decadent as us prudish Americans who believe simply having a mistress is morally offensive. :p :D |

Location: France | Hello,
today is also a great day for me because...it's my first post on this forum and it is also very funny to post a reply to a guy that lives only few miles far from me...in France...Surprise Jérôme ! I'm also a member of the OT forum for few days.
Well, I have joined these 2 forums to find some informations about the better way to proceed to become the owner of an Adamas guitar, the famous #47 RI. You will certainly answer "just buy it, boy". Not so obvious when living in France...I will certainly need some help if in the future I plan to pass an order to the Adamas custom shop. Of course I will discuss about all of that with Jérôme before !
So, I'm sure I will enjoy learning lot of knew things about Ovation guitars with you.
Thank you for your time.
Bernard. |

Your English is excellent. As long as you are trying to learn to conjugate verbs, could you tell us what that means? Does it have something to do with conjugal visits? Have fun looking that up. |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Jerome my friend, it is truly an honor to have you here: Your Ovation Tribute site is magnificent: Thanks for the care you put into it and the help and pleasure it brings to so many! Personally, thanks for your care and help with my small M.D. collection and I hope to look forward to you being my family’s guest in the near future!
As to the Lama story, I'm sorry: I am not sure of the significance but it must be related in some way to the "Amelia Incident"...personally, I'd just walk away! LOL ;)
Many Many More! |
