Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Well, two of my three shipments this week have made it in. One of them I have to flip because I had not counted on finding the other two the next day. It made it via Fedex this afternoon and is now listed on in the For Sale section (see 1995 Collector's for sale thread). The other one came via UPS a little later and BOY O BOY! Here's something that's a little less of a hint than it is a dead giveaway.
Oh Lordy! This thing is gorgeous! The owner said she was given it new as a gift. But she plays classical and rarely took this one out of its case! I believe her. I think the strings may have been original. She's been cleaned up and re-strung and sings just like the reputation that preceded her. I managed to get a few pictures just before sundown. They don't do her justice, but you get the idea. :D
Now I just have to wait until Friday to see if the last of the three makes it in one piece. It's on its way, so wish it luck. |

I guess the standard around here is to include your guitar collection in your signature line...damn, now I have to go down and figure out exactly what I've got! |

Okay, I have to get away from the computer now or I'm gonna need a cold shower.

In theory, the top hasn't had any opportunity to vibrate and loosen up, so won't it get even better with some play time? I have the same questions about a wood-topped proto that I know hasn't been played much, yet sounds terrific. Anybody know? |

Do it This brings to mind a question I've been meaning to ask a professional photographer the next time I met one. Exactly what is the definition of Hi res? I was going to inquire about where to send pics. I assume hi-res cannot be handled via email. Anyone? |

I have a 6.1 Meg pixel camera. Shooting hi-res and saving as a .jpg, my pics are about 2 MB. So yes, you can send hi-res via email. But most sites required you to reduce the resolution.
This doesn't count shooting RAW... |
