Looking to see if someone has either the catalog for an '87C or any other documentation concerning it. They don't issue replacement COA's anymore. Anybody has and is willing to sell above stuff, let me know. John

I've got the documents and you just reminded me, I think I was going to send copies to Moody. There are a couple ads for the 87C on ebay.
Jerome's site probably has copies of all the goodies that came with it. I have the original sales ticket for mine out of Nashville.

You were. Don't worry about it. I've got a copy of the booklet that came with the guitar on my computer.

Is that the booklet on Jerome's site? If not would you email them to me? And Mark could you send me copies as well either by email or otherwise. Thanks. Let me know. John

I would, but I have no idea what your email address is. I may have to send it to you on a disk but let me try to email it first.

moody, does it have a certain member's name on the COA? I'd love to have a copy (electronic) too, would you mind?

I remembered the problem. Our scanner either doesn't work or I don't know how to work it.

The one on Jerome's site doesn't have a name on it.

Nice to have a copy of a COA, but the original owner is really the only true record. Guess you got it or you don't. I don't.

I never noticed that the 87 had a spot for the owner's name. All the rest just have the serial number.

I don't have any paperwork on the 87C besides an electronic copy of the booklet that came with it. I borrowed everything from Wong, copies what I wanted and returned his stuff.

My 87C-5 did not come with any paper work...I copied the COA and its in the case pocket...what a guitar...I would have loved to have taken this to Amelia but so many guitars and only two hands...this is easily one of the nicest looking, easiest playing, and best sounding Ovations I have ever owned! BTW, did I mention: What a guitar!

I went to Jerome's site and found the brochure Moody sent to him and just saved the separate pics to "my pictures" then printed them out on our color copier. They came out really well. So did the COA on Jerome's site. Be nice to have an original. Another thing to keep looking for.

Pardon my ignorance, what is the link to Jason's site? BTW, the 87 is a great guitar, no ignorance on the last statement.

Thank you
