Location: Vernon CT | Can anyone give me some info on Yorkville products.I've never heard of this "Brand" before. I know the company is Canadian and I'm wondering about their quality and reliability.
Specifically a MP8D 8 channel powered mixer.
I've been on line looking at/for reveiws or any other info. But it;s allways a good thing to hear
"Your" thoughts. :) |

Location: Carle Place, NY | From my experience Yorkville/Traynor amps are very well built with quality engineering and sound. I have an Traynor PA from the '70's that is really nice considering how old it is. I only use it occasionally, but I'm always amazed at how good it sounds. I also have a much newer Traynor tube guitar amp (YCV20) that IMHO has better bang for the buck than any Fender amp. |

What the heck? Are you going on tour without me? I'm I out of the band? Is it the whole "Beatles thing?

Location: Scotland | Yorkville are the parent company of Traynor. The current range of Traynor tube amps are as good as anything out there, including some of the boutique names, and are definately not made in China. I beleive they now own ART also |

lower end stuff made in china.
from the manual printed in china
The Traynor name has long been associated with affordable, great sounding amplifiers. Since the early 1960’s, Traynor amplifiers have earned a reputation as cost-effective, highly reliable ‘workhorses’. Yorkville Sound is proud to continue this tradition with our latest generation of Guitar Mate™, Tube Mate™ & Bass Mate™ combos. These open-backed amps are manufactured in the far east under the supervision of Yorkville's design and manufacturing team and are perfect for aspiring guitar and bass players in need of a compact and durable, yet inexpensive rig. |

Location: SE Michigan | I have a Yorkville NX55P powered speaker that I use as small PA and as a monitor with larger PAs. It is exceptionally well built and sounds great.
When I was shopping around for a powered speaker I asked for a lot of opinions and the Yorkville's were recommended over the Mackie's, Yamaha's and JBL's. Yorkville is better known for it's bass amps and PA gear. I have heard nothing but good things about them. |
