Looks like an Ovation pickup and OpPro installed. It looks a lot like a 2080.

It is kinda fugly... Is it cheap? (uh, Inexpensive?)
Aesthetically, they didn't do that teardrop sound-hole very well.

If I could get one for really cheap I could get over the looks! :p

from the pics, looks like a Carbon Fiber bowl, Bridge, and at least headplate on the headstock, anyone have any specs on these?

is the neck wooden or Carbon fiber? I see a weave on the fretboard...

is this an Ovation Partnership/collaboration?

"Q" revisited?

regards,

Glenn

As far as I could see from a "Acoustic Guitar Forum" in German, Christian Grassmann has made just one prototype as a hobby in 2007, followed by a 12string in February 2009. He says he´s not worrying about potential customers since he´s doing it just as a hobby (Und wegen der Käufergruppe will ich mir keine Gedanken machen - die Dinger bau ich nur für mich, ich hätte gar nicht die Zeit dafür.) = I don´t want to think about potential buyers, I build them just for myself, wouldn´t have the time for it anyway.
For those reading German this link might be interesting: http://www.fingerpicker.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6631&sid=ab848e711...

With that much carbon fiber, I wouldn't expect it to be cheap (or inexpensive)

Here's the 6 string, and a 12 string being built and braced.

Grassmann CTG Guitars

all carbon fiber except the bracing, and I guess probably Birch Ply in the top..

I guess they're one-off's?

Thanks for the information Chris, i made a search on Google german pages but didn't found this one. I shall check it soon and perhaps ask some questions to the builder.
