Location: east coast usa | I stumbled across this u-tube video of this guitarist named Steffen Schackinger. He mixes a style of Rock, Jazz & Blues in this song. I believe it is worth a quick look!

Oh and by the way because of the economy and my current employment status i am regretfully selling my ovation collection with the exception of my 1778-KGC. I will be listing them sometime early next week. It hurts to have to do this but with a son in college and a daughter in need my priorities forces this decision. It will really hurt parting with my 1967 balladeer. :( |

This guy has touch, feel, AND speed...not just speed for speed's sake, he uses his speed deftly, sparingly, and when needed.
This is the real benefit of Youtube. If you just heard this on the radio, it wouldn't nearly have the impact of actually seeing him play it live.
Thanks for the link, Geneo, and sorry you have to unload some gits. Hopefully you'll be able to start acquiring some back in a few years. |

Don't listen to Gallerinski - sell the '67 to me really cheaply and I'll promise to give it a great home. :D
Really though, I hope you get everything sorted and can start rebuilding your collection by this time next year. |

Sorry to hear about another member having to liquidate, hope things improve soon. My advice is to ONLY consider sensible offers… like those that come from me… ;) |

Location: east coast usa | thanks to everyone for the understanding and kind words.. it does hurt to sell off my collection, but one has to do what one has to do, when it comes to family! With that said it looks like i might have the 67 already sold to a OFC Member... (Ill let them have the fun off letting ya know who they are)
oh and considering this thread was suppose to be about this awesome guitarist.. I am glad the video brought thrills to others besides me. What a gift that man has. |
