| Hi
I am consedering buying this guitar but i cant get it here in Norway (no shops are selling this guitar)So i have to order it from USA.
It is the newest model made in 2008 or 2009 i am thinking of buying.
Does anybody have or have tried this guitar and can tell me what they think of it?

Location: London, UK | Strange thing is - that model is not made in the US, but is sold there rather than Europe!
Delivery costs from the US will be high, so I'd advise looking at www.thomann.de (they have danish/finnish sites and deliver to Norway) for another Ovation in your price range.
If you do decide to buy from the US, see about getting a US-built model - they are superior in sound quality. That's NOT the AX range! |

Quite right and not just because Iv'e got one the 1861 LX is the one because they are still available but no longer made in the USA. I bought mine from the USA for about 500 euro delivered.
Very loud for a SSB, very light if just a bit nose heavy but thats Ovation anyway.
