Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Just got my 1680 that I bought from Trader. It sure has been a great day for Adamas' here on the OFC! I love the sound of this guitar. I put the airlocks in the treble side and that really brought out the bass. What gets me is how warm this guitar sounds. And it's so PRETTY!. Grey is my favorite color, and I love the solid epi's. You can see better pics on Trader's original post than I could ever take. I'm going to go plug it in now. Talk to ya'll later. |

What a cool pic Mark, and a beautiful setting...guitars are not bad either (lol)... |

Well, what can I say? I love it and so does everyone else who has walked in here today. Earlier there were two guys fighting over it. They are both regulars, and it was pretty funny hearing them "It's my turn" each other. After all, it IS MY guitar, but if they want one, I'll be happy to find one for them.
Is that good enough for now? Can I go play it some more now? |

Somebody write this down...if I EVER win a stupid Lotto (and it would really be amazing considering I don't really play it all that often), I'm flying the first 50 to respond to Mark's back door for a weekend he's been waiting for forever...(Mark, I wouldn't stock the cooler just yet tho')
By the way, enjoy it Allison. That one's a real treat. |

If you get here, it's because it's where you wanted to end up. That's still pretty true today. I really don't mind that it's not popular, but it would be nice if we didn't have to beg for 30 years to get friends from the Midwest to visit us. |

Sure is a beautiful backyard you have there, Mark. Looking at that everyday would make me want to breakout the guitars and sing every chance I had. I have tree envy. |

At least not on purpose. Awww, Weaser. I drove through Syracuse in May on my way to the Watertown area. Does that count? ;)
Alison, how's it going? You still on guitar hiatus? |

I'm happy she has a good home and an owner who will make her sing.

The pic with the tree is the woods behind our cabin in McCall.
This is the backyard in Boise:

Location: Boise, Idaho | Those are the culls that I didn't take for the calendar (although the scenery is familiar). I need to quit hijacking Allison's thread though anyway. I sure wish I could get over there to the Black Hills for the gathering next summer. She'll have enough new/old Os and As for every member by then. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Mark, I've been to Boise and believe me, I don't mind seeing those beautiful pics at all. I would LOVE to get out there for a gathering and some sight-seeing, but I am tethered to the store. That's why I am hosting a gathering next summer. It's probably the only way I'll get to meet ya'll. |

Location: Tennessee | Hey! I've been to Boise! Several times. I even saw a lawyer there once. But everyone kept telling me to go back home to California.
I think I'll drive through there again next year ... on my way to the Black Hills of South Dakota. There's a couple of guitars I'd like to play there and a guitar store to visit. ;) |

Location: Boise, Idaho | The ocean is boring, except for snorkeling. I'm not much of a swimmer and I can't handle that relaxing stuff. The nice thing about a cabin is there's always some project to do. Bobbo and anyone else who is driving through on the way to Allison's is welcome. I hope she stays tied to the store long enough that I don't have to be tied to a job. |
