In another topic that was posted recently, the question was asked, 'Is the 1680 Worth the Price Being Asked for It?'.

I would like to expand this topic. How does the UTE compare to the 1680?

What are the differences in sound quality between the two quitars?

What are the differences in the way these two guitars are constructed?

Is the UTE made of unidirectional carbon or the textured cross-weave carbon?

Does the UTE have a suspension ring, and if it does not, does this mean that the UTE is less resonant and not as loud as the 1680?

Thanks.

Albert,

HERE is a discussion on the 1680 that includes some comparisons with the UTE at several points.

Hopefully someone has done an A/B comparison since that thread.
