It's a killer guitar but I have something else really special lined up and have to generate funds for it. I'm sure I'll regret selling it but that's the way it works right? |

A quick search here will show that the 1680 is one of the highest rated/praised Adamas.
Some patience and constant searching may pay off with a 1680 for far less than the currently advertised prices. Also give Al a call to see if he has one.
If you're ever in the Tampa Bay area, you're more than welcome to try out mine. Or, if ya can make an 'O' gathering, there's a chance ya could play one there.
Good luck! |

The looks of the 1680 do zilch for me. But if I was a 12 fret slothead but who liked the plainest guitar on the planet? Sure, the price is a bargain for what you get. |

Location: Miami | Well, I've bitten the bullet, so to speak and ordered one from Oklahoma Vintage Guitars. There is a trial period in case it's not for me, but I'm hoping it will be. This guitar fulfils a few different things for me: it's a 12 fret, it has great electroncs, by all accounts it sounds really good acoustically, and it's an Adamas - a guitar I've always wanted to own. |

You should know me better by now. I'm patient enough to wait until I can buy one at a "try it" price. ;)
But for now, I'm hip deep in discussions with mothership. As you well know, said discussions can preclude purchasing almost any Adamas until they are completed, or rather, paid for.
In fact, I'm hope to pay for one this week. Slipkid wants pictures, and I can't take'em until I drive over to New Hartford. While I'm there, I plan to leave a couple more for some TLC. So I'll be doing lots of tradin', but sadly, precious little keepin'.
Um....Out of curiosity, do you know about one that's available? (I can't help myself, I've talked to Trader Jim one too many times I think. The man's infectious like H1N1, only more expensive. ;) ) |

... but check your PM... |
