Location: Vernon CT | Just got home from a great day in New Hartford. I went there to finally meet Mike (Crimsonlake) as he was bringing Jerome's Prototype Adamas up for TLC. Mike is even nicer in person than on this forum if you can beleive that! :~)
John Budny, Mike and I went out for a nice lunch at a local place called "Chatterley's" Good food.
Jerome's Adamas was an iteresting Guitar with the F holes. Can't wait to see pic's when it's done.
Handed the Ovation book off to Mike and he will bring it down to Ameila Island in Mid March
Got John and Kim to sign it too!
Mike, thanks for a great day It is and was a pleasure!! :D |

I use this same logic with "marital relations". |

As to CL, he's the one responsible for my 'Iffy" handle. I've already personally thanked him once... lookin' forward to do that again! |

My wife and I have been together for 26 years.
We're both sick of me.
She asked me for a tatooed latin pool-boy for Christmas.
We don't even have a pool.
Try the veal... |

It was great seeing Kim and John again and it was great meeting Bob... another truly nice OFC member! If I didn't have the long drive home we probably would've hung out at Chatterly's and talked all day.
Al - I asked Kim and John several times if they wanted me to bring back the cabinet - they said no. I think they like having it around.
Oddball - I asked that very question and they said that there haven't been too many changes as far as they were concerned. The biggest change is the Guild operation right outside their door. The rest of Customer Service had to move upstairs.
Jerome - your guitar is in safe hands now... actually, John and Kim kind of had that "Dr. Frankenstein" look in their eyes. Maybe you should be worried
As for the factory tour - they basically said that everything is budget related, which is obviously more of a factor now that FMC is in the picture - so no news on that front.
One thing that Bob and I talked about was a possible NE (northeast or new england?)gathering. The southern boys have it going on... the north needs to step up now! |
