Anyone know what kind of acoustic Alan jackson uses? Looked a little ornamental, but cool.

Most recently he's playing Taylor. I've seen photos of him with some older Gibsons.

Q: What kind of guitar does Alan Jackson play?

A: Quoted from Alan Jackson's guitar tech/roadie Rocky Harrison ......"A custom Taylor 610 with a quilted maple back and sides, and what makes it really nice, in addition to its excellent sound, is it's abalone fretboard inlay of a blue marlin fish. Man, its just gorgeous. Alan also has a backup "stock" 610"....

I think he just holds it, but he can write a good song.

I've seen him play a mungo-pickguard Gibbie that looks an awful lot like the 'old' Dwight Yoakum signature one:'

Gibson currently shows a different sig model for Dwight.
