Location: Michigan | did any of u make it to the monterey pop festival?i did a wikipedia search on it and i was suprised that there were a few artists from back then to this day that i had never heard of that played there.
i happened to hear eric burdon and the animals song monterey and it got me into it.the song they did was to show off all of the different styles and instruments that were played at the festival, pretty cool reading here.
theres hours of cool stuff about the no shows and the bands that were invited but couldnt attend because of various reasons.if you get bored puttzing online check it out GWB

I got it just for the Buffalo Springfield portion. |

Location: Chicago | I was barely 10 at the time, so no luck with attending (though I grew up in the Bay Area). I do have the DVD and love it! Too bad the Doors were not invited: they sooo belonged there in '67!!! |
