Location: liverpool ,england | hi there anybody got any idea were i could get a strap that came with this guitar, dont fancy using a normal strap as would rather use the proper one that came with it that fits onto the ring, i have a franklin strap but dont fancy fastening with lace or string any help or pics would be great thanks in advance, |

Location: SoCal | What you really need for it is a swival connection. If you just tie the strap directly onto the mounting ring, eventually, it will unscrew the mounting ring. Ask Al about them. He provided some with the first OFC slothead. I didn't use it the first time and managed to unscrew the mounting ring from the shaft on the screw into the neck. The guitar went back to the factory for some other issues and they fixed that. I've used the swival ever since (tied the strap to the swival with a length of leather) and haven't had a problem since..... |
